Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has extended his warmest felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in the state and beyond on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In a statement issued today by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, Governor Yusuf called upon the faithful to use this auspicious day for deep reflection and to embody the Prophet’s exemplary life and teachings.
“I am delighted to felicitate with the Muslim Ummah in Kano and beyond as we celebrate the noble occasion of Eid-el-Maulud,” Governor Yusuf stated.
“May we continue to reflect on the teachings and practices of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for our greater glory, and may his virtues of peace, love, tolerance, and unity continue to guide our lives and our society,” he added.
The Governor emphasised the importance of living in harmony and promoting peaceful coexistence, regardless of religious or ethnic differences.
He urged all citizens to pray for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.
